Randy S. Duckett , a native of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, became Pastor of Solid Rock Baptist Church in April of 2015. Randy married Tina Hames on August 21, 1993 while a student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. They spent the first 21 years of their marriage and ministry in west Texas with all but two of those years in Odessa, Texas.

After thirteen years of ministry visits and educational pursuits in the Pacific Northwest, doors opened for his family and ministry to move to Portland, Oregon. Randy holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. He earned his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and a Doctor of Ministry from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary’s Pacific Northwest Campus in Vancouver, WA.

In addition to pastoring Solid Rock, Randy spends time during the school year investing in leaders in the Portland metro area. He currently teaches the Biblical Studies track for Gateway Seminary’s Contextual Leadership Development program. The weekly encounter with church leaders is a highlight of his week. He enjoys the opportunity to connect his passion and knowledge of God’s word with his commitment and love for the church and the development of her leaders.




Jenna Meister has been the youth leader at SRBC for the past two years and was assistant to the youth leader for three years prior to that. Jenna's passion for youth stretches back many years and she has been active with the youth in various activities and communities

Jenna was born and raised in the small community of Molalla, Oregon. A couple years after graduating high school, Jenna moved to Portland where she began attending SRBC in 2003 and became a member later that same year.


Jenna has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Portland Community College and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Human Development from Warner Pacific College and currently enrolled at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary’s Pacific Northwest Campus in Vancouver, WA.

In her spare time, Jenna enjoys running, hiking, reading, watching baseball, practicing martial arts and spending time with family and friends




Tom was born in Illinois in 1944 and transplanted to the northwest in 1959 when his father, Reverend Orvil Clay, was called to pastor the First Baptist Church in Benton City, Washington. A graduate of Central Washington University and Lewis & Clark College with a Masters in education, Tom entered into a 44 year career as an educator. He has been happily married to his wife Jacqueline since 1970. Their family has grown to include three daughters, two sons-in-law, and six beautiful grandchildren. Tom has been a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church since 1970, the same church that his father pastored for 28 years. During his time at SRBC he has served as Minister of Music, a Sunday School teacher, and Deacon. In his free time, Tom enjoys boating, camping, fishing, and traveling.
